When used with a Switch 4007 and Switch 4007R, the GBIC fits into one of these modules: Switch 4007 Gigabit Ethernet Switch Fabric (3CB9FG9), Switch 4007 Gigabit Multilayer Switch Module (3CB9RG4), or Switch 4007 Gigabit Ethernet I/O Module (3CB9LG4); select Switch 4007 and Switch 4007R starter kits include either the 3CB9FG9 or 3CB9RG module. When used with a Switch 4005, the GBIC fits into the Switch 4005 1- Port GBIC Module (3C16826), or Switch 4005 2-Port GBIC Module (3C16843).
